A pen & ink portrait of Harry Chalmers RND, killed in action with Nelson Battalion at the Battle of Ancre 13/11/1916, aged 21.
This drawing was commissioned by Harry’s great nephew, who will be placing a copy of the portrait on his great uncle’s grave.
Please have a look at my main portraits page for more, sensitively drawn, pen & ink portraits.
If you have a family member who fought in WW1 or WW2 – or if there’s a military person that you particularly admire – and you would like me to bring them to life in pen & ink, please send me a message through my contact page.
I’m happy to discuss any project, whatever the size.
